Contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible. The Foundation funds are managed by professional fund custodians and investors whose performance is reviewed quarterly by a committee of the 365体育 Foundation Board of Directors.

The 365体育 Foundation is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code (#82-6010706).

Your tax benefit is dependent on your personal income level and filing status. Please contact your tax consultant for additional information.

Idaho individuals may take up to 50% of a gift of $1,000 (a tax credit of $500)
Idaho married couples may take up to 50% of a gift of $2,000 (a tax credit of $1,000)
Idaho corporations may take up to 50% of a gift of $10,000 (a tax credit of $5,000)

Many employers “match” their employees’ charitable contributions, providing an easy and effective way of leveraging your gift to Boise State. Some companies provide the guidelines and forms to fill out online, or you can check with your Human Resources office. Some companies match the contributions of retirees and employees’ spouses.

慈善事业 is based on voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life. To ensure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the not-for-profit organizations and causes they are asked to support, we declare that all donors have these rights:

II. To be informed of the identity of those serving on the organization’s governing board, and to expect the board to exercise prudent judgment in its stewardship responsibilities.

V. To receive appropriate acknowledgment and recognition.
VI. To be assured that information about their donations is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the extent provided by law.
7. To expect that all relationships with individuals representing organizations of interest to the donor will be professional in nature.
8. To be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees of the organization or hired solicitors.
IX. To have the opportunity for their names to be deleted from mailing lists that an organization may intend to share.

A one-time gift fee, up to 5%, is charged to support University Foundation. Additionally, all endowments are assessed a quarterly administrative fee. These fees do not affect the portion of your donation considered a charitable donation for IRS receipting and University giving totals.

The Foundation Board approves guidelines to invest gift monies in programs that match the return and risk profiles with the designated purpose for the gift.

For expendable gifts, all monies are immediately available for University spending.
